The general
intent of my work is to find a way to express an idea or thought in
an exciting and creative way. Most of my paintings begin with a
photograph which I have taken. This provides an inspiration for the
variety of subjects I paint. I am drawn to the challenge of
capturing a moment and recreating it in a realistic, abstract, or
non objective painting.
My work is instinctive with the belief that the painting will end
up having an expressive quality that will invite the viewer to
analyze the work and ask this question: “What did you have in your
mind or thought process to produce the
painting?”
